Children's Ministry

We have an incredible Children's Ministry, which is currently divided into four programs: Babies of Grace, infant to 18 months; Little Explorers, 18 months to 3 years; Mountain Movers, 4-10 years; Gatekeepers, 11 - teens.

Currently, our Babies of Grace and Little Explorers share the same room and lessons, but as we continue to grow at Abundant Grace Ministries, we will be consistent in adding new programs and classes that will teach and encourage our children and facilitate growth. 

Shannon Brown, OTR, Children's Director

Shannon Brown is married to Darryl Brown and they have two young children, Caiden and Ella.  She has been a member of Abundant Grace Ministries since 2005.  Shannon has been involved in children's ministry since 1998, working up to lead teacher and assisting the children's ministry director in many areas to train teachers and establish children's ministry protocol. 

Shannon is 2001 graduate of a three year bible school program at Agape Faith Bible Training Center.  She has also attended several continuing education courses in children's ministry though RHEMA Bible Training Center and at Church on the Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

Shannon is a registered Occupational Therapist and has worked with infants through the senior population in her career.  She understands how to facilitate developmentally appropriate tasks during classroom sessions.  More importantly, she believes children are the church of today.  Children are spirit beings who need to understand the love of God and the power through His Word to lead successful, Godly lives in the midst of a world filled with many alternatives.
